Inspiration … !

Gil, the gila monster was inspired by Laura Milkins.  She made a portrait of me as gila monster when she was a visiting artist here at CSP in Bisbee, so this is the drawing that I made in response! (“Gil, Gila Monster in Deep Thought,” Merchant’s Bank check from 1901, in private collection).
